The forecast for the day was for a slight chance of rain so, of course, it rained on us pretty much the whole hike. But if we were going to have a rain day a hike to waterfalls was the one to have it on. Not only would the falls be bigger but the crowds would also be smaller. Fortunately, Sandy and I have learned through experience so we have excellent breathable rain jackets, water resistant hiking pants and hiking gaiters on our shoes so we stayed fairly warm and dry the whole time.
